Photo restoration

Hello, the Briones name caught my attention, as my mom's dad was a Briones, whom we never knew. I would like to find that side of the family. Although, my grandpa Briones was killed when my mom was nine yrs. old. He was on his way to visit her. Supposedly he lived in Mexico.Anyway, since you mentioned photos... I want to share that: recently we came across a pile of Black / White negatives & I scanned them on my regular scanner. Worked with the Adobe photo shop with the contrast etc. We now have some archival photos of my husband's ancestors. It was like finding Gold. Good luck all... thought some of you might like to try it. (only works on Black / white negatives.
