Hey my name is Hector Cobian and i too know almost nothing of my last name. I am in Colorado now but we came from California, by way of Michoacan, Mexico. My grandfather, Narciso Cobian, i know came from Jalisco. I have an aunt living in Nueva Italia, Michoacan who is doing tons of research on the name, i am going to try and get in touch with her and see if i can find anything out.
