i think my grandfather was seaching for the fountain of youth and found it, ponce de leon search all of florida and the fountain of youth was in cabo rojo, puerto rico, my grandfather had 44 kids, 11 women, the only one he married was my grandmother, luisa, she died at 83, he also had 2 slaves but my father said they were treated as family, he let them go free to go on with their lives ... when i call my folks, i'll ask them if they were toro ... what i am trying to find out is what part of spain the asencio's came from ... david cuesta, he's on the internet, told me years ago that the asencio's settle near the border of france, i forgot the town he had mentioned ... are you an asencio? don't be surprised if we are cousin's, that's if you are from puerto rico because i saw in the internet the asencio's are all over mexico, central and south america ... "it must have been my gransfather's doings", i guess he was very religious, there is a scripture in the bible, "BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY" or something like that, he took that particular scripture very SERIOUS! i guess that's were that saying started "QUE PASA PRIMO!" if you want to email me direct, it's usmc69@webtv.net or if you want we'll use this internet service ... usmc69, i was in the Marines in Nam in 1969 (honorable discharge, years served, 65-69 Cpl) ... their are only a handful of asencio's who served in the military ... bye (cousin?)Responses
