Petrikowski from Mexico

My grandmother's name was Leonor Lopez Petrikowski. She was borned and lived a long time in Oaxaca, México. What I know, from my mother, is that the family came from Poland, they were probably Jewish, and later became catholic.
One brother of my grandmother still lives at Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, México.

I no longer have officialy the Petrikoswki lastname, but I am too interested in finding more about these roots.

Soy nieto de Leonor López Petrikowski, quién nació y vivió mucho tiempo en Oaxaca y murió en la ciudad de México. Lo que me ha contado me madre es que la familia vino Polonia, y probablemente eran de religión Judía, pero después se convirtieron al catolicismo. Un hermano de mi abuela todavía vive en el puerto de Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, México.

Debido al paso de las generaciones, yo ya no llevo este apellido, pero también estoy interesado en saber más sobre mis orígenes.
