Looking for more Plazola's

Posted by Melinda Molina <tmolinafamily@hotmail.com> on Fri, 22 Jan 2010

Hi! My name is Melinda Molina. I am the great-grand daughter of Lillian Plazola Munoz. Her Father was Domingo Plazola, and I believe his father's name was Sebastian Gonzales Plazola who was married to Jacinta Gonzales. They had two other children that I know of, named Guadalupe & Luis. Guadalupe married someone with the last name Vasquez. Guadalupe's daughters name is Carmen Vasquez and her Grandchildren were Trinidad Vasquez, Jose F. Vasquez, and Maria De Jesus Vasquez. I believe Jacinta settled in Corcoran, CA with her son Luis. I was wondering if there were any family members connected with me through them.
I was also wondering if Jacinta had anymore children? What were her parents names and where were they originally from. Where was Sebastian originally from? What were his parents names and where they originally from? Does anyone know exactly where the name "Plazola" comes from? (I was wondering if it was mis-spelled somewhere down the line. Is it possible that it comes from "Palazolla" from Italy?)
Also, from what I understand, Jacinta and her Husbands children were born in San Sebastian de los dos reyes, Jalisco, Mexico.

I would love to meet more family and learn more about our family history. Are we really ALL related in some way?

There are about 200 Plazola's just from my great-grandfather Domingo and his wife Leonore Bedoya. But I'd love the chance to meet more!

Sincerely,
Melinda Molina
