Tecolotlan, Cocula, Ejutla Jalisco

Thanks for the offer of help but I have not come across anyone from Tenamaxtlan yet. Mostly I am looking for the last name of Pimienta. The Pimienta line that I am following starts 1904 to about 1800's in Tecolotlan. After that I find them coming from Cocula up to about the early 1700's.

The lasts names Vijil, Silva, Perez and Ramos so far are coming from Cocula and San Martin Hidalgo. I am still in the 1800's with their last names.

Other last names in Tecolotlan are Santana, Basques (Vasques), Pena, Perez De Alencastre, Gomes, Rosales, Aldaco and Balle (Valle). Some of these seem to come Cocula and Ejutla.

Right now I have Ygnacio Gomes (about 1740) married to Petronila Rosales, coming from Ejutla. Their children seem to be born in Tecolotlan includes Maria Gertrudis Gomes (about 1770's)married to Joseph Mauricio Pimienta (1772), Joseph Raphael Tiburcio Gomes (1765), Joseph Maria Pascacio and/or Joseph Maria Patricio Gomes (1700), Magximo Ygnacio Gomes (1771) and Rosa Regina Gomes (1775). I am still verifing the names and dates of this branch of family. The Gomez name comes in also in the 1900's but I am working backwards for now so as of now I only have my uncle Gilberto Gomez who was born in Tecolotlan and his mom Gregoria Pimienta (1909) also from Tecolotlan.

The problem I have is all the ranches listed on the baptizm papers where some are born at home and baptized in Tecolotlan, that I have. I cannot find any map that shows where the ranches are/were located.

So after all this, if anything sounds familar to you or your wife please let me know. Thanks
