Cobian name

Posted by Patricia Cobian <cobianhom@aol.com> on Thu, 11 Jun 2009, in response to history of name cobian, posted by SHELLEY COBIAN on Wed, 02 Jun 2004

I live in California, just 20 minutes from Palm Springs, my parents are from Jalisco, Mexico. My dad said that the Cobian name originated from and England and my aunt said that our great grand parents told them that we carry English and German ties. We have alot of relatives in California, Las Vegas and still in Jalisco Mexico. I'm sure you are tied in as family somehow or someway. My sister and I visited Las Vegas a couple years ago and came across a shoe salesman at the mall that turned out to be our cousin. We found out shen we paid with our credit card. Small World!
