Ginesi
Posted by Eddie Galaviz <eddiegala7@yahoo.com> on Fri, 19 Dec 2008, in response to Ginesi Dominguez family of Mexico, posted by Ana on Sat, 13 Sep 2008
More than likely the " Ginesi" last name is Basque. The Basque people were the major founders of " Las Americas". They consisted of Jesuit priest, naval officers, conqustador figures and etc.The fact that the last name ends with an "I" is corralated to Basque autonomy. I've been doing an indepth research on my geneological history and I find it fascinating.. I hope this will help.
happy holidays
