Rodriguez Peña surname

Posted by Lic.Gregory Kearney Lawson <costarica@attorneykearney.com> on Tue, 27 May 2008, in response to Finding the Mother I Never Knew -- PENA Surname, posted by Eleanor Pena Jaquez Aguilar on Tue, 27 May 2008

Your Moms´surname is Rodriguez and her second surname is Peña, the first surname Rodriguez is the fathers furst surname and Peña would be the mothers first maiden surname.
Many latin countries continue using two surnames which makes more sense and helps track down your ancestors.
I specialize in genealogy research in Costa Rica.
