tener contacto con familiar lejano

Mi apellido paterno es Zoller (con diéresis sobre la o) así tengo registrado en mi Partida de Nacimiento; pero conozco que tengo descendencia alemana; pero no se si así mismo se escribe el apellido; o éste ha variado en su escritura a través del tiempo. Sería bueno conocerlo
Se que mi tataraabuelo fue alemán y vino a estas tierras ecuatorianas a radicarse huyendo de la segunda guerra mundial.
Mi familia por parte de padre es numerosa
Se que él se llmaba, creo johansan ( no se si está bien escrito) y se que tengo familia en Berlin
Es todo lo que puedo decir.
