origen de vejar

hola a todos ... soy Chileno y estaba viendo el arbol genealogico de mi familia y veo que mi abuela, Teresa Lavados Salazar , era hija de Emelina Salazar Vejar y Benigno Lavados Vejar , eran primos y para coincidencia vivian en Chillan , que es nada mas y nada menos que la VIII , por lo que se sigue la tónica de la poblacion de vejares en el Bio - Bio. Esa es la única info sobre vejares que tengo en mi familia y me gustaria saber si hay algun tipo de conexion con algunas de sus familias ... solo pa cachar que volá

lamentablemente he tratado infructuosamente de obtener informacion diferente al significado u origen del apellido pero no he encontrado algo diferente a lo que ustedes han aportado
