miyara -sephardic name

I have an ancestor called Miyara Velasco -- I am wondering if you had any other info about the Sephardic Jews who used to live in Asturias -- my ancestors settled in London UK around 1700's - they came via Portugal -so could have been expelled from Spain around 1492 -- any info. on the history of the Sephardic Jews around this part of Spain would be gratefully received -best wishes Judith Rodrigues
