Another Cobian

Hello everyone, mi name is Jose Cobian, I live in California, but I was born in Tecoman Colima Mexico, my dad is from Cuatlancillo Jalisco, he had 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
My grandfather Salvador Cobian married my grandmother Mauricia Zamora, my grandfather died before I was born, so I never met him.
Some of my cousins live in Jalisco and some in Colima, and also some here in California.
I find it interesting that so many of asked the same question about our last name.
With everyone help here we can find more about our last name.
