Geneology

Posted by Jose Gabriel Aldebot <jaldebot@kinco.net> on Mon, 18 Jul 2005, in response to apellido Aldebol, posted by Astrid del Valle Aldebol on Sun, 04 Jul 2004

Dear,

It is my understaning that our last name is originally from Nothern France. I believe it originally started as Aldebo or something similar.

It developed into Aldebol and finally settled as Aldebot.

I know it settled in Puerto Rico and the Domincan Republic. In PR, I don't know if there are any Aldebot. However; there are several in Santiago de los Caballeros (The Dominican Republic). Some of the brothers and sisters moved to Santo Domingo and also to New York.

In Santo Domingo, there are not very many as a matter fact; there are three total. In Santiago, there are several. I believe in NY there should be several Aldebot's also.

I hope this information helps you.

Thanks

JGA
