Michel's de Tonaya, Jalisco, Mexico

Ysenia, Thank you for your response. The Michel's of Tonaya, Jalisco, Mexico is where my family comes. Possibly there is a connection, but where I haven't the slightest idea. My suggestion is for you to contact the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Utah and for a fee of $16.00 they will send you the Vital Records Index on CD for Mexico where upon you can begin to seriously search for your ancestors. It does not claim to be complete, but at least it is a significant way to begin your search. I cannot see how we are immediately related, but who knows until you begin the search and where it will lead you. GOOD LUCK AND GOOD HUNTING! John Andrew Michel [Juan Andres Michel of Tonaya, Jalisco Mexico.
