FIMBRES FAMILY

Posted by Shannon Fimbres <shanleefim@aol.com> on Fri, 03 Jun 2005, in response to Fimbres origin, posted by George Fimbres on Thu, 22 Jan 2004

My understanding of the Fimbres name is from the White Mountains of Arizona. Geranamo's mother was Membres Apache hence the name Fimbres. My grandfather was born on the Apache Reservation in Arizona in 1907. His name was Eroclio Hernandez Fimbres. I know that he had several brothers and sisters but the only name i can remember is my great-grandmother she was called White Elk. Grandpa moved to Los Angeles,Ca. He married Vera Guillan. They had 7 children. 6 boys, Tony,Freddy,Rocky my dad,Beto, benny,And Donny. 1 daughter Cathy.
I also know that there is a coat of arms for the Fimbres name. I believe it's French. My parents have it.
