hace tiempo que busco lo mismo, y solo obtengo presunciones respecto de el origen de nuestro apellido por ejemplo:
que el apellido original era beher y tenia que ver con unos
arabes o judios que emigraron a espaņa y vivieron unos 700 aņos alli luego comenzaron a perseguir a los cristianos y estos comenzaron a huir y a cambiarse el apellido dependiendo hacia donde se dirigian y quien los recibia, de ahi vienen los beher, behar, vejeres, vejares, bejar,etc y los que adoptaron el apellido vejar eran los ultimos cristianos que se asentaron en la ciudad de bejar y que cambiaron la primera letra para identificarse y dar a entender que habian sido y eran sistematicamente vejados como personas.
