John D Hill

I have a John D HILL Who I believe to be my distant Relative.
He was the Grandfather of Isabella Hill, my great grandmother. She was married to Radford S Mincy in Bedford Co TN. Her dad was Thomas Jefferson Hill. John D Hill is believed to be from Fincastle, Botetourt Co, Va. I found a John Hill on the 1790 Tax List there but can't say for sure they are the same.Cannot find any thing further.
