Halo/Hallo

Hello,
My family is from New Jersey. the correct spelling of the last name is HALO, but it was spelled incorrectly on my dad's certificate of birth, and never corrected. So my brother and I are HALLO, instead of HALO. Does this name ring any bells for anyone?
