hi im carl i also dont no many gurnhills live in sheffield yorkshire although just met some in doncaster who are distant relatives. my grandad was called william henry gurnhill born bout 1897 settled in retford lincolnshire was a steeple jack before he fought in the bore war an suvived be fore movin to sheffield. gld if ive bin any help. carl xx
