my grandparents

hi Phil,
Yes, the Australian sense of humour is still alive and kicking; my earlier reply was probably more tongue in cheek than anything else.

My grandfather was from either Northhamptonshire or Bedfordshire, and Dad from Burscough Bridge, Alancashire. My nana was also from Alancashire. Hope this helps. I'd be appreciative if you can keep me posted on what you find out. Thanks and good luck,
