Dear Families
My name is Amy Giannascoli. I am an employee of the Grant Street Inn Bed and Breakfast, located in Bloomington, Indiana. I have been given the task of researching and collecting historical information about Grant Street Inn and the town of Bloomington, Indiana.
The purpose of this collection is to honor individuals and families who have uniquely contributed to the rich history of Bloomington, Indiana with a primary focus on the historic “Ziegler House”, now known as Grant Street Inn.
Each individual or family will be honored with a brass-plated dedication on the outside of one of Grant Street Inn’s 24 bedroom doors. Inside each bedroom, an educational vignette of the room’s namesake will be showcased.
William Graham, owner of the Graham Plaza Hotel (Bloomington,Indiana)also owned and resided in the "Ziegler
House" for a period of time. I am submitting a general inquiry to your family web site with hopes of receiving a response from a relative who may have interesting leads, stories or family memorabilia to share with Grant Street Inn.
I appreciate any information that can help me with my project and am eager for your response. Any information may be submitted to the addresses above.
