No, the name is not Italian. It is like saying that Cartier is French, but it was taken by another country and it is now Carter. The name, my name, Bedolla is of Mexican origin, and has been for many centuries, over 500 years now. Maybe when US goes to the moon and settles there, we will lose more letters... and then the moon will take the name.
