Skerianz Name

I think it may have orignated in Slovenia - I found an article a few years back at an Slovenian ancestory site where they listed skerianz and the region it orignated from.
Perhaps you could give me a few details regarding your fiance's family history - we may be related. I look forward to hearing from you. By the way I am italian and born in trieste italy and with the surname skerianz.
