Davis Family

Searching for info on my g-g-grandfather, Israel C. Davis, who was born in Louisiana in 1816. I have reason to believe he was the son of Daniel Davis who was born in abt. 1772 and lived in the vicinity of Little Pretty Creek. Israel married Mary C. Hamilton in Copiah Co MS in 1833 and they were the parents of 8 children, one of whom was my g-grandmother, Matilda Caroline Davis.
