Collins Nova Scotia

Searching for ANY info on John (Joseph?) Collins, an Irish, Revolutionary War soldier who came to N.S.in 1783-84 and married Catherine Elizabeth Hauptman in 1784.They lived in the Liverpool area .They had 9 children...one of whom, Thomas, married Elizabeth Gerhardt|Garrett.
