Sepherino Cortes

Hi My name is Leah I am looking for a Seferino/Sepherino Cortes/Cortez. He would have been my paternal grandfather his age could range anywere from 1900-present day is soppose. Have done done several searches online for that name. He was in Chicago Illinois in 1949, that's when my father was born. My grandmother sais he went back to Puerto Rico but not until he'd been shot by my dad's stepfather Fred Alvarado now deceased. I've checked hospital records in Chicago Illinois, and they do have a shot wound victim in 1949-50 at the Swedish Covenant Hospital, but not under that name. Any info on a Sefarino, or Sepharino Cortes/Cortez would be greatly appreciated thanx Leah Hahn/Alvarado (Maiden)
