James/george charles

We have been trying to find out anything about our Charles family. They were from Highland Co., Ohio. Our g-grandfather, George W. Charles entered the Civil War and returned to Highland Co. We would like to know if anyone knows anything about him. He was born in 1844. In the 1850 census there is a James M. Charles that has a son, age 5, named George but we do not find him in the 1860 census. We hit stone walls.Display message for printing | Print Entire Thread
