Abraham Gonzales Casavantes

Hello, my father's family is the Gonzales family who eventually resided in Las Cruces New Mexico. Abraham was my father's great uncle. His nephew, Joe is my father's father. My understanding is that we share a very rich and interesting history. I am assuming that the Casavantes name is connected by my great great grandparents who gave birth to Abraham Gonzales Casavantes and his siblings.My understanding is that the family blood line has much physical strength. One of Abraham's brother's once knocked out a horse with his fist because it wouldn't get.
My parents currently reside in the homestead my great grandparents built in Donana Co, Las Cruces, New Mexico.
