Lussin and the Poserinas

Posted by Elisabetta Nutter <ENutter91@hotmail.com> on Sun, 10 Aug 2008, in response to I am from Lussin, posted by Marina on Wed, 29 Nov 2006

Hello there Marina ...

I don't know if this email will reach you, but I happened to be on the web just "surfing" and I came upon your note from November 2006.

I was born in Trieste but my Mamma was born in Lussinpiccolo, and my maternal grandfather was Giovanni Poserina. He was the lighthouse keeper there for 40 years.

I miss speaking the "Lussignano" dialect ... now my Mamma is dead and there's no one here (New Hampshire) with whom I can converse in my native dialect.

Take care ...

Elisabetta
