Calderwoods of PA

Hello,
I am researching my husband's family, the Calderwoods of Tyrone (Blair County), PA. I've been able to trace back the following members:
John Howard Calderwood (1877-1942), son of
Thomas Weston Calderwood (1843-1918), son of
Gideon Draper Calderwood (1811-1879).

I've been unable to go back any farther than Gideon. Is he a son of one of the Calderwoods listed above? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
