Mary,I am the grandnephew of your grandfather- my mother kathleen fallon was his neice the daughter of his brother dominick fallon( known as sonny as he was named after our great grandfather whose wife was an Ellen Gallagher from the valley in achill.My mother is in contact with your uncle michael dominick fallon in ohio.David Fallon is a grandson of our great uncle Anthony (David's father also called anthony) is my mothers first cousin as must your parent .
I remember your grandmother giving me sweets when I was a child on holiday from London.The reason it is called Fallon's row is that three brothers James,Anthony,Dominick built houses there along with thier sister Bridget(Mrs McGreal)
Dooniver is a village and the nearest post office was in bunnacurry
