CARDENAS FROM DEL RIO

Hello, Still trying to research Cardenas/Cardwell connection and have several missing gaps to my tree. Working on Jesse & Elida Cardenas and I am mostly interested in Jesse Cardenas's side of the family. His parents were: Joseph & Josefa Cardenas. I don't have any information on them and this side of the family and how the Cardwells fit in. I know that they lived in Del Rio, Texas then moved to San Antonio, Texas. I beleive Jesse was born in Il. ot Indiana. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
