Linda...my mother married your Grandfather's brother John.
My Aunt Teresa and my uncle Herman spoke very little Emglish. He was a Block layer or mason for many years and then went to work at Long Beach High School as a custodian. I was fortunate to have visited Lussinpicolo four times in the 1970s. My Father's family still has a large house there. One day I will return to visit. It's still an interesting place but few of our relatives remain. It is mainly Yugoslav at present.
My Aunt Teresa was a hard working little lady who always yelled at my Uncle Herman. He was a strong man who loved his glass of wine. However, she was the boss and he lived under her command. I must go now and I will write soon.
