CAMPBELLs in Kentucky

Posted by eileen <elholm@aol.com> on Mon, 19 Aug 2002

My great gtrandfather , James Vermont Campbell was found on the 1920 Fulton Co. , Ga. census at the age of 48 putting his date of birth 1872 . On the mentioned census it is stated the he was origionally from Kentucky ( no county mentioned ) and that his parents were from there also ( no names ). James had at least one brother , William Campbell who is believed to be older . They both ended up in Ga. James settled and married there and had 5 children . William is thought to have had at least one daughter , Rosabelle who married a Shelton man . At some point she lived in Hapeville , Fulton Co. , Ga.
I am very interested in finding out who the parents of James Vermont Campbell and William Campbell were .
Any help will be greatly appreciated .
Eileen
