Jacob is buried at Fobbs (Forbes) Cemetery near Bagwell, Texas.

Jacob was a first settler of Red River County, Texas. He arrived there 9-28-1837. Jacob served in the Republic of Texas Army in Captain William Becknell's Minute Men in 1841-1842.

A Little About Fobbs Cemetery, Red River County, Texas:
Book 20, page 611- in Red River County Records
Malcomb Fobbs (Forbes) was paid $5.00 for one quarter acre to be set aside as a burying ground. The $5.00 was paid by trustees, Milas Bagwell, Hardy James and W.A. Baker or Barker. An undated paper left in Clarksville Library by Grady Moore says that a Baptist Church once stood near Fobbs Cemetery back before the Railroad came.

This is what I had in my data. Hope it helps!
