Bennett's of Va.,N.C., Ga., Al.,La., Tx.

If anyone has information on William Armistead Bennett, born
1Sep.1831, in N.C.,died in 1863-64, at the battle of Missionay Ridge, in Tn., in the Civil War, he married Mary
Elizabeth Manning, born abt. 1832 in Al.,I think it was Butler Co., as their first child was born there in 1857, he had the folling children John, Benjamin, Sally, and my grandfather Wm. Armistead Bennett Jr., who was born in 1863
in Logansport, La., when they were on their way to Tx.with
family in a wagon train.

I know my Bennett's are related to the Bennetts of Washington, Co., Ga., and also the Bennett's of Fayetteville
Ga.
Please help if anyone has any information on these Bennett's
I would be most grateful for any information at all?
