Bambury

Posted by Jane Bragg <janepbragg@verizon.net> on Fri, 04 May 2007, in response to Bumbary vs Bumbray??, posted by Louise on Mon, 04 Sep 2006

It is quite likely the family name could have been Bambury. The name Bambury is found in the Ballylongford village in northern Kerry. My grandmother, Johnna Bambury was born in Ballylongford. Ballylongford was severely affected by the Great Famine.
