Baietto information

I found Jean-Luc's reply to your e-mail very interesting. My grandfather came from Lemie, Italy. My Father was Louis Baietto (1917-1995). He was born in Kangley, IL. He had 5 sisters and 2 brothers, all born in the US. Two sisters are still alive: Virginia (1914) and Margaret (1904) I have never been able to find out much about his family tree. My grandfather's name was Luigi, or Louis. My grandmother was Frances. Her maiden name was Rochetti. They came to the US around 1900 and moved to Gallup, NM where my grandfather worked in the coal mines until an accident caused him to lose his leg. Then they moved to Kangley, IL near other relatives. Try www.familysearch.org. It may give you some more information, although it didn't help me much with my father's parents (My mother is German and I traced her family back to 1500's!). Please let me know if you have any more Baietto information.
