Wold Family

We are direct descendants of Endre Olson Vold (son of Ole Endresen and Aase Olsdatter. Endre was born 9/17/1816 and died 2/5/1892. He married Brynild Thorsdatter 8/4/1844. Their son, Thor, their 4th child, was born 9/21/1850 and died in 9/1934. They emigrated to America from Hallingdal, Norway with children in 1854.Thor (aka Thomas Anderson Wold) married Liv Johnson 2/11/1873. She was born 6/11/1854 and died 3/21/1927. They had 9 children, one of whom is my maternal grandmother, Mollie Wold. Thor, Liv, and Thor's parents are buried at Norway Church Cemetery in St. Olaf, IA.
We are having a Wold reunion July 19-21, 2002 in St. Ansgar, IA. See the "reunion" section here for more information.
Thor's siblings are: Mari (b. 8/18/1844; d. 1863); Ole (b. 3/28/1846; d. 1937); Gunhild (b. 9/1848; d. ? m. Berndt Evanson) Mari and Ole are buried at the Norway Church Cemetery.
