Parents of William Simpson Bailey/Iowa

William Simpson Bailey was the son of Sylvester S. Bailey and Euphania Tate, according to his daughter, Clara Evelyn Bailey Pherigo. My grandfather, Eli Bailey, was the oldest son of W.S. Bailey and Eveline Roland Bailey. I find mention of Amos Streeter Bailey as a son of Sylvester S. Bailey, but I find nothing about William Simpson Bailey. Please help me find this linkage.
