Hi, I am the oldest daughter of Maurice Nickleberry Jr, from Marietta, Tx who lived in Dallas, Tx until he passed away a few years ago. My grandparents were Maurice Sr and Birdie Price Nickleberry. There is an annual Nickelberry family reunion that travels each year, and although last name is spelled differently, they are still related to us. Some of us from Texas have joined in with this reunion also and it has been a great gathering also. The East Texas connection from Marietta, still holds the yearly reunion on Labor Day weekend, on the hill at the Old Home Place, where Bessie Ruth and Carl Hatten reside. That too is a great old time, with family. Family is important and it is good to know who your folks are. Join us when you can, because we ain't going no where. Love You All.Responses
