Finding My Father's Family

Just to update, I did locate several members of my father's family in Orangeburg, SC. Family names now Elmore, Geiger and Washer. I found out he had sisters and some of their children and grandchildren still are in SC. I also found a cousin who is here in Atlanta. My mother was here for Christmas last year. Several family member on my dad's side came up from SC as they had not seen her in many years. Some had never met her or my sister. It was a great reunion. The family resemblence to my father and to me was unbelievable. Now I will be able to trace more of our Geechee family history. I plan to visit with family in SC next year.
