NC Surname Bright

Hello, I am looking for information on the AA Bright family of Lenoir County NC. My gg grandmother was Ella Bright. She married Henry Hicks. Ella was related in some way to Edd Bright of Kinston. These two families know of the kinship, but we don't know how. I need to know the parents and/or siblings of Ella Bright. She died in 1898 in Neuse Township, Lenoir County NC.
