Frierson History

Posted by Yolanda Y. Frierson <yyfsajc@aol.com> on Fri, 17 Feb 2006, in response to Interesting, posted by Michael Frierson on Fri, 08 Apr 2005

Hi Michael,

I am Stephanie M. Frierson's mother. I was born is Sumter, South Caroline. At the time all my cousin called me Cricket. My Grandfather was Robert Frierson (married Marie Bines). My grand father had 12 children. Out of the 12 children 5 were boys and their names were Robert, James Evert, David, Herbert (was a gamble) and Thomas.
My uncle Thomas is still alive. He knows a lot of the Frierson history. He has shared information with me back to the time of slavery. If you can give me your father's name and a liittle more family information maybe we can help you with some missing history.
By the way I do have a cousin name Michael Frierson whom I have not seen is several years.
