Hi my name is pat Iam from charlotte north carloina.
my mothers name is GLADYS COUSAR from clio south carloina.
I cant go through the entire matter of my mothers name,but
I will say that I always wanted to know where the name came
from,I always felt that it was french an slaved owned.
the name cousar ment alot to me for some time now ,its not been that long when I meet my
mothers birth sisters,and brothers ten in all nine living
in 2000.Some in bennettsville,clio,florence south carolina
the rest in new york.We get together every year for the
cousar family reunion held in charlotte nc,or bennettsville
sc,or in new york.I would like to here from some of you on the
cousar name. my gandmothers name is margrette cousar,she
has only one sister living that is in her 80s,of florence
south carolina.so much history so little information.
