Two brothers

Posted by Timothy L. Mays <timdenv2@aol.com> on Tue, 16 Aug 2005, in response to Mays family, posted by mary bell on Sat, 10 Jan 2004

the farthest back we can go is two brothers who were forced to flee for their lives and their freedom after confronting and killing their owner after witnessing their father's beating. The night of their depature, their last memory of their parents was as they looked up through a hole in the floor and were handed a sack of potatoes from their parents (who probably were facing certain death for not turning them in)thier final intructions to their sons was to
"Go with God"....
At some point as they were being pursued through the woods these two brave brothers were forced to part company (probably to increase their chances of escape) they were never to be reuninted....
I am the sixth generation decendant of one of these brothers if you have an oral tradition in your family that sounds similar please let me know....
