Frierson Ancestry
Posted by Michael Frierson <fribaby01@aol.com> on Wed, 27 Jul 2005, in response to Ancestry, posted by Michael Frierson on Fri, 11 Feb 2005
I am a descendent of William Frierson of Charleston/Kingstree SC. He came from England by way of Ireland in 1700's That is the earliest back I know. He had 3 sons who had numerous children. They traveled around different part of the US. The census records show that many people named Frierson in South Carolina owned slaves. My ancesters most likely owned slaves, but I haven't studied the history that thoroughly. I do know that the son who is progenitor of my family moved from South Carolina to Tennessee. I have many cousins there. Their children have married and moved to other places. I currently live in Florida and there are several people in different parts of Florida that have same last name.Responses
