Please Help Me Find My Father

My Name is Carmen and my date of birth is July 16, 1972 I will be turning 33 in a few more days. I was told my fathers name is RUSSELL BOWES his birth date is APRIL 1, (1950-1959) Not sure of year. He lived in Harlem (NYC) and he has family in North or South Carolina. My mother's name is Elaine....Please Please help I want to know what he looks like and who he is....Thank you!
