"Al" is a caananite prefix; Kebu is related to "Kebwe" means "beginning" which comes to us from the Bwiti people's prayer during initiation that begins "Ye ye kebwe....." which is refers to the beginning. "'Ye ye kebwe' or I praise the beginning."
